U.S. Presidential election results 1980- 2012 reflect the exceptional and extreme timing realities of those chosen days compared with just about any other days in that entire year. How can anyone explain the special meaning of the Timing of one specific day? Everyone accepts that timing is vitally important (“for want of a nail…the battle or the world is lost”). However, astrology was and is decried by both science and Christian religion. The Church has insisted only God could control timing since the days of Aquinas and the medieval Scholastic University. They complained astrology relied only upon calculations without any wriggle room for Church prayer to sway God. Science has relied solely upon its algebraic equations insisting the geometry basis of astrology is too hard to understand.Pundits offer their opinions and analysis based solely upon their own views and selected data to fit their conclusions. The notion of a special trend in the timing on a certain day eludes them. Astrologers tend to work with individual charts, selecting their own favorite details from the thousands of possible astrological indicators. An overall timing description for an entire Election Day is usually beyond the scope of most horoscopes. Too many astrologers are Conservatives thinking better things only existed in some distant Golden Age before things were corrupted by Liberals and kids and the like. All astrologers hold strong opinions and are more likely to argue with others, both astrologers and pundits even if they deep down hold compatible views than anything else. Like the blind men discussing various parts of an elephant, it is too difficult to allow that your findings may just be part of the whole picture. Meaning Only Appears Against Background or Context

What determines the meaning of anything you might read? Is it the language you use or the lucidity of your writing? In fact, it is the clarity of the contrast between your text color and the background page or context. To understand meaning you must first specify and note the context involved. Symbolic meaning has a number of levels of context from the specific to the abstract to the metaphysical. The Chinese Classic I Ching is an ultimate text in symbolic meaning using the gestalt concepts of Yang or Focus and Yin or background context bundled into six-line patterns called hexagrams. They are ultimately X-Ray images of the inner structure of symbolism that can be fleshed out to model any and all situations.Horoscopes are symbolic representations of Timing in terms of the various cycles of our lives upon Planet Earth as reflected in the apparent positions of the Sun, Moon and Planets. Most horoscopes require an exact time to be accurate. The astrological Zodiac is based upon 12 signs which divide the year equally based upon the annual solstices and equinoxes which indicate the seasons. Putting together the 12 signs of the Zodiac with the six line places of the I Ching Hexagram yields the 6 areas of my X-Ray Eye which yields patterns that can stay in place over an entire day. The U.S. Constitution sets the date for all Federal elections, thus nailing down the horoscopes for those campaign results from the very beginning. The course of U.S. politics is not totally the result of the clever negative TV ads after all. It is determined by the choice made by our Founding Fathers to have all Federal Election Days the first Tuesday after All Saints’ Day. Those designated dates through the decades and centuries have turned out to be some of the most extreme and unusual planetary timings that culminate that day. Interesting co-incidence or exquisite Divine engineering, who knows? They are not arbitrary or meaningless; they illustrate an ongoing narrative of our national Destiny. Whether this is the result of Random Convenience or Divine Engineering is a personal choice. However, they are amazing in their meaningfulness.Just as the unique character of our American nation was determined by the tiny detail that about 200 copies Jefferson’s final draft of his committee report for a Declaration explaining the earlier vote of the Continental Congress to demand their independence from Britain first started to come off the press just before 2 AM in the middle of the night of July 3rd/4th 1776. At that moment the moon nearly full was passing near the Zenith. This has the meaning in astrological almanac lore that the general public or in today’s terms public opinion would rule this new nation. Was this known to Jefferson, or an offhand comment to him by the almanac maker Benjamin Franklin put into practice as the light of the moon was noticed as Jefferson worked with the printer? Or just a random fluke that the Moon in that position would be brighter and make it easier to see what was being printed and thus proof the page. There is no known information about that. However, we live with the clear meaning of the result that each American believes that their opinion matters and is the basis of our democracy.No record was made about it and no specific time or event was noted in the Official Journal of that day of the Continental Congress. All there is turns out to be a copy of that printed draft (perhaps that first proof that set the nature of our Declaration of Independence). There was no final or official vote of ratification; no signing by anyone though the printed draft says in type “signed by John Hancock, Pres.” And in no way any possible action around 2 pm by John Hancock as some astrologers imagine. Or did any event occur at 5 pm when other astrologers find their favorite birth time. Jefferson noted in his diary that the discussion continued late into the evening of that day, which with the late sunset in Philly in July may well have meant the Continental Congress broke off that session actually after midnight and thus on July 5th. However, by late August when a formal embossed copy was finally and formally signed, this Declaration has the very largest opening phrase of July 4th, 1776 which forever after is universally and officially recognized as our National Birth Day.The near 2 AM time was found by Marc Edmund Jones by rectification, correcting the exact time during the 4th of July, 1776 from major events in the life of the nation. However, even Marc Jones did not notice his birth time was before dawn on that day. I had researched the question of what magical ritual could Jefferson had done with the lost copy of his draft to fix that time as the nation’s founding. His draft is the sole founding instrument of our national character. Then I found that he had worked with the printer, and I realized printing was the act of publication which for a Declaration is its birth event.John Adams and Constitutional scholars know the legal break and change in status from British colonies to Independent States occurred with the formal vote of the Continental Congress, July 2nd . Adams wrote he expected that date to be celebrated forever after with fireworks and celebrations. But the law can not hold a candle to the views of American Public Opinion, at least not since that fateful first proof copy of Jefferson’s draft of his version of the Declaration of Independence came off the press with the Moon elevated near the celestial Zenith. Jefferson took the founding of our nation and its official Declaration of Independence unto himself by the printing of his final draft. The Continental Congress could only act under that framework, their context set by his draft and their meaning controlled by it. Their discussion was based upon the individual printed copies each delegate was given that were printed the night before. That edited version, printed the next night for distribution throughout the colonies was only the first act under the authority of the Declaration creating our free nation by Jefferson himself. His draft clearly noted that his phrase, “All Men are Created Equal…” clearly and absolutely included those Africans kidnapped, abused and sold into slavery. He also built his accusations against the British Crown to culminate in the crime of the slave trade, a crime not only against the Free and Equal Africans, but also against the American Southerners tricked by Britain into buying these slaves for British profit. That con began with the sudden collapse of a London market bubble in sugar in the late 17th century that left British sugar plantations with many surplus slaves no longer able to produce enough profit to be kept. Instead they were packed on ships and sold as ideal profit machine for the Virginia planters starting to grow tobacco, then worth its weight in silver on the London market. Visions of ultimate profit were spun by the shippers’ salesmen from the Midas touch of these special slaves who worked so hard for no cash wages. They even spoke English already, that special 17th century English subjunctive showing they accepted their slave status. The subjunctive disappeared from all English centuries ago; descendants of 19th century Jamaican slaves like Colin Powell or Malcolm Gladwell speak quite regular English. Now this relic of the late 17th century scam exists only in so-called Black English or Ebonics. And of course in the irrational prejudice and hatred toward Blacks who are felt in the racial unconscious of Southern plantation owners and other Conservatives to have cheated them of the fabulous wealth without any great effort by the plantation owners as promised them by the British scamming them to cheat them of as much of their precious tobacco as possible. The 1980 Election Results Explained by X-Ray Eye Analysis

The unusual planetary positions of the Federal election days give a fascinating look into how the mood of the electorate is channeled by the timing of the calendar. The election results can be explained (or predicted) by the X-Ray Eye patterns and the Flux Tome Oracles that arise from them. Fortunately, it is not necessary to go through the precise planetary positions or even the exact X-Ray Eye graphics to explain the election results. The patterns holding upon U.S. Federal Elections from 1980 to 2008 and even now 2010 are extreme enough to make themselves clearly known with a minimum of technical detail. I replied that would be determined solely by the news headlines of the weekend before the election. The planetary positions on Election Day 1980 were quite unusual. The election results in 1980 between incumbent Democrat President Carter, Republican challenger Reagan, (and independent John Anderson) are now famously known as the Reagan landslide which ushered in Republican control of the Senate (for the first time since 1954) and started the Reagan revolution. The electoral vote was 489 for Reagan to 49 for Carter. At the time the election results were a total surprise to pollsters and campaign strategists. Even after the election it was seen as a massive repudiation of President Carter and his leadership rather than a true ground swell of support for Reagan. The election results were expected to be very close. The pollsters and pundits found all their data evenly divided between Carter and Reagan. The polling of the two campaigns showed the same results---candidate preference was dead even at 49% each for Carter and Reagan from the Friday before the election right through Election Day itself. The number of undecided voters was unusually high and the voter turnout was the lowest in 32 years at 52.9%.What changed was a massive shift in voter sentiment toward voting for Reagan and against Carter in reaction to the news headlines. (Chicago Tribune Nov. 6, 1980).Nowadays the election results of the Reagan-Carter election of 1980 are interpreted differently. Current candidates denigrate Jimmy Carter saying he couldn’t get the U.S. embassy hostages out of Teheran, but in just 5 minutes Ronald Reagan did. That ignores the unpleasant details of the Iran-Contra Scandal. Carter was pressuring the Iranian Ayatollah hard but nothing in Teheran would budge. Only around the time of the 1984 election was the Iran-Contra caper revealed that what started out as a covert mission to prevent an October surprise by the Carter campaign resulted in keeping the Embassy Hostages until not just the U.S. election, but Reagan’s inauguration. This was not a sign of great power recognized in Reagan, only the objective proof of his campaign’s corruption. Reagan’s agents made a Devil’s bargain to use the hostages to win the election of 1980. Agents for Reagan’s campaign (including George H.W. Bush, the VP candidate at the time) arranged the corrupt deal to let the Iranians influence the U.S. Presidential election by convincing them Reagan would give them a much better deal, if only they refused all attempts by Carter to free the hostages. This would fit into the campaign narrative that Carter was weak and incompetent. They only NEEDED to avoid any “October Surprise” where the hostages’ freedom would be seen as Carter’s success. But then, like all political deals other goodies were loaded on the basic package for extra profit.Of course, involving a presidential campaign in dealing with a hostile foreign power to delay the release of official U.S. diplomatic hostages is black letter treason. They added bribery and corruption using the promise of the return of frozen Iranian assets, and sales of U.S. arms and spare parts to the Iranian military to sweeten the deal. To lubricate it further there was the addition of some quantity of Iranian oil to be delivered to U.S. oil brokers to sell for their personal profit.Winning may not be everything but election results are close enough for hard nosed politics. The extra money accumulated in the secret deal was used to fund the Nicaraguan Contra rebels without involving Congress (or obeying the laws forbidding such assistance). Reagan sought to balance this deal and punish Iran by allowing U.S. Agriculture Dept food assistance money be used to purchase and ship poison gas to Iraq to use against Iran. It was also used by Saddam to gas other Iraqi ethnic groups.This was seen as a win-win as Iran would be punished in its war with Iraq and the U.S. would be able to make friends with Saddam Hussein and also obtain useful intelligence on the effects of poison gas on the battlefield. No one other than Saddam was willing to do such things, so he became a close connection for U.S. secret military folks.Another robust security measure allowed by stealing the 1980 election was the secret funding of the Muslim insurgents fighting in Afghanistan. The Saudi fellow who was organizing the foreign fighters coming into the fray, Osama Bin Laden was much appreciated by the Reagan CIA who gave him training and Stinger missiles since he was clearly a religious fundamentalist anti-Communist—or so CIA intelligence thought.Carter saw the last debate as being the cause of his downfall. As a result they were held 444 days and released to be met by then citizen Carter after Reagan was inaugurated.Other factors at play in on Election Day are only hinted at in the news reports. Clearly dissatisfaction over inflation, job loss and other problems of the Carter era was growing.. However over the last days before the election personal frustration mounted. ”The pollsters are all wet because they thought they never understood the feelings of America right now. They think everything is yes and no. Well, it’s not. Last night, in a couple of these joints, these neighborhood taverns, they went bananas. Yes, Democrats. They all stood up and sang ‘God Bless America.’…”Me, I’m a liberal, but you know what I did? I went out in the street and sang the first verse of the Marine anthem. It was just in me. It came out. That’s what came of all the of the people on Election Day---frustration. A need for an outlet. And the voting booth gave it to us. We voted in a new president.” Dule Bingham quoted in an article “Election no surprise to ordinary folk” a close-up with Anne Keegan Chicago Tribune Nov. 6, 1980 section 1 page 6)The American electorate felt overwhelmed by a sense of a gut-level reaction to the news of the weekend, the lack of progress releasing the hostages, the frustration over President Carter and his four years in office, the high inflation and other extreme issues. This swayed the undecided to vote for Reagan or not vote at all. The result was a conservative president with a Senate of his own party who could enact the new agenda he wished and later call it the Reagan Revolution. As a result of the massive emphasis Reagan placed upon the hostages, a new phenomenon emerged among Muslim fighters—taking American and other Western males hostage for publicity and ransom. This became the hallmark of the Lebanon Civil War, culminating in the aftermath of Iran-Contra figure Ollie North’s shenanigans getting Terry Waite, the envoy of the Archbishop of Canterbury held hostage for a number of years. A British woman journalist [Elizabeth Sly] was a witness to the beginnings of this process. A Muslim fighter asked her if she where knew any American or British citizens could be found since they were now worth one or two million dollars as hostages. She asked if she were in danger, and was told that only men would be taken hostage.That is the reported background of the election of 1980The immediate reaction to the news of the weekend before and through Election Day would determine the election results totally. The news was about continuing inaction with the release of the hostages, even that Carter Administration officials were taking the weekend off; not focusing upon the stalled hostage negotiations to work on the re-election campaign. Not a word in the papers about the ongoing Iran-Iraq war which Reagan might get the U.S. involved in if elected. Certainly not a whisper of the deal in Tehran where Ollie North offered the Iranians many goodies and promises of better relations with Reagan as president if only they would refuse to negotiate anything with the current U.S. government. A unique change was taking place as Pluto just moved from the sign of Libra into Scorpio. A single planet changing sign usually isn’t a total upheaval; even a slow moving and momentous planet like Pluto (size doesn’t matter in astrology; it was discovered in the terrible days of the Great Depression when all the traditional established ways seemed to be crumbling into dust). Friends of mine trading on the financial markets noted that the economy was in poor shape but Reagan’s charisma seemed to be working to keep things from falling to their realistic levels. Instead, that was put off until October 1987 when the Dow dropped over 100 points each day from Wednesday to the final debacle the following Monday. The financial news ticker was not set up to display a triple digit daily loss. Most investors only heard about the market meltdown after Monday when their investments hit bottom. The machinations of the various “profs” of Tea Party steam power climaxes with the Full Moon the night of 22-23 October and then this wave subsides over the final two weeks of the election campaign. On Election Day, the second of November, The Fox News lies, candidate excesses and unlimited corporate campaign cash will swell to an intense crescendo singing “I’m a little tea pot…” for the election. However, nothing is ever so totally simple and easily programmed as any of us might wish.

It may well be another century or more until there can be any clarity at all about what this new Timing will bring forth for the world (or at least those who survive this transition) however, it will clearly be a major transition that will be fully in play after these midterm elections.

A great President can only be known against the background of the times he is in office. President Obama is far too able and aware to have done so poorly in his political sense of these first two years in office. When there were 60 Democratic Senators after his election; it still was impossible to move his agenda against the entrenched self-interest and powerful lobbies in control.
