President Bush43 is a Bundle of Spin in the Whitehouse!

President Bush43 is a concentrated personality with a marked gyroscopic self-sufficiency that “…in practice becomes a sort of free and wholly adequate rotation of self on its own axis…” This simplifies the formal analysis by Sabian Astrology as planetary positions are all bundled together leaving fully two-thirds of the horoscope wheel blank.

There are no planets in his chart in the signs of Scorpio through Taurus which forms the X-Ray Eye pattern of NOTHING BELOW THE WAIST. President Bush43 is more extreme than that, with only the Planet Uranus, singleton Inside with all the other planets in the OUTSIDE ABOVE THE WAIST region.

President Bush43 is clearly the Bundle Temperament Type in Sabian Astrology with all his planets within the trine of Uranus and Jupiter of exactly one degree orb. This eliminates any possibility of a Natural Disposition since there are no oppositions. It makes President Bush43 very much the creature of his own private world that he seeks to expand to include as much of the rest of the Planet as he can.

The examples given by Marc E. Jones of this type start with Czar Alexander III who sought to unify Russia on the principles of nationalism, the Russian Orthodox Church and “an uncompromising autocracy.” The second example given is Benito Mussolini who … through the one man dictatorial rule he helped to shape and to show how it could be sustained by propaganda and mob appeal working hand in hand with the tyrannical repressions and exploitations known to man since the night of time.”

The Bundle type has a leading planet in High Focus, which for President Bush43 is Uranus with the keyword Experimentative which is a personal creation of Marc Jones. Uranus in high focus (which is also my situation, though in the less extreme bowl temperament type)shows a character seeking to make their own new and different approach.

With his Uranus in high focus of the Bundle, he shows his novelty of approach in his search for new and different ways to replace traditional checks and balances with his own personal rule and unique ways to continue campaign techniques as a style of governance.

In such an idiosyncratic and self-gyroscopic personality, it is informative to look at the other side of his Bundle, the trailing planet which shows what is most inwardly and privately his own great concern. In President Bush43, this planet is Jupiter which in high focus is Paternal (also mine, we are both Boomers of parallel chart formats)

This private side of the concentrated chart gestalt gives a personal intensity to be the wise head of the household not only in control but also supported, admired and beloved by his entire family. Achieving success with this trailing planet in high focus requires the consent and response of others to the whole of one’s personality as it unfolds. The leading edge one can plow into reality, the trailing edge can only be the reaction and wake of one’s entire life momentum.

Looking at the Sabian Symbol for President Bush43 Jupiter in the 19th degree of Libra (Intimate Involvement in Harmony and Beauty) with the image of: A gang of robbers is seen in hiding, ready and anxious to attack the heavily armed caravan just coming into sight. His paternalism and involvement in harmony and beauty is not a peaceful or friendly thing. He seeks to take what he prizes by stealth and violence proving himself by overpowering well-armed opponents by surprise.

This would make his seizing the Presidency from the Prince of Tenn and his entourage of the Clinton Democrats the greatest personal satisfaction for President Bush43 to be celebrated further by making John Roberts, so instrumental to the Supreme Court case to take overthrown the popular vote (as finally reported) both in Florida and the whole electorate and give Bush the Presidency, the new Chief Justice of the United States.

The mode of Self-Integration is complex as there are clear aspects connecting three departments and the remaining Department of Efficiency (Mars, Venus and Mercury) have absolutely no aspects at all amongst them. This makes his lack of any clear self- organization in terms efficiency a major concern. His only Earth planet is Mars in Virgo which shows President Bush43 has only his Detailed Expression (Virgo) of Intimate Initiative (Mars) to ground him in reality. Overall his focus would be with the one planet not Outside (on public display in his X-Ray Eye)-- Uranus in Gemini or Creative Genius for Various Alternatives. This gives him the ability to try all sorts of avenues to get what he wants privately.

Uranus is totally accentuated, being the planet in high focus as the leading edge of the Bundle pattern. However, it is one of the slow moving outer planets of the solar system which is more generational than personal. President Bush43 has the personal situation that all his other planets are just a tad further along the Zodiac that his Uranus leaving it behind alone on the Inside.

Focal Determinators in the Sabian Astrology analysis of President Bush43 are severely limited by his Bundle temperament type which leaves so much of his chart empty space. The Trigger focal determinator is the closest square to the planet in high focus. In the case of President Bush43 this is best taken as the trailing (and thus most revealing of his true character) Jupiter in close (and applying) square to his Sun.

The Sun sign is what most people know of astrology. President Bush43 has his sun in the 14th degree of Cancer (Individual Quest for Poignant Feelings in the style of “A very old man, whose feebleness adds strangely to his dignity, stands alone, facing the darkness in the northeast” which blends well with his inner drive for Paternalism. He seeks to be the dignified old man standing on his own facing the darkness he feels from his New England roots.

President Bush43 has his sun in the 12th house or the area of the unknown and difficult, the house of confinement in pure Sabian terms. The houses focus upon circumstances as ever greater distances from self. The first house is one’s body and the 12th house must end at the first house Ascendant. That means it represents what is just behind your head and thus only felt or worried about but never clearly seen. As you turn around to see it, the 12th house turns with you.

This trigger focal determination by square with his Jupiter shows his inner motivation to be so successful in his robbery of the caravan that he can stand alone and face his father as an even greater head of state. Jupiter, the planet of expansion generally, when stressed by square aspect tends to excess. This trigger would show a danger that President Bush43 would try to hard in his marauding and go a bit excessive in his attacks upon the caravan traffic of the Middle East and its Oil.

No matter what he does, President Bush43 can not get a clear vision of his sun or individual quest as it keeps firmly attached to the back of his head. The classical Sabian interpretation would move on to the 16 point analysis of the 10 planets, North and South Nodes of the Moon, Ascendant, Part of Fortune, the mental chemistry and the Vocation.

At this point I will branch off a bit to my own variant of Sabian Astrology. The final step in this overall chart analysis is the determination of the Overall Gestalt of the Chart and thus the Image of the Person into which any and all horoscope details can be related. It is the framework that must fit the person like their skin and over which each specific can be affixed like clothing on a Barbie doll or body parts on a Mister Potato Head.

In the ancient world, a person’s astrological sign was their moon sign or how they responded emotionally to events around them. In the 20th century the sun sign or individual quest in one’s own terms became the essential astrological indicator. In the 19th century, one’s social appearance and style, represented by the Ascendant or rising sign was used. Newspaper horoscopes are still based upon Ascendants although the Sun Sign is noted as easier for folks to determine.

The Ascendant is the astrological sign rising at the Eastern horizon at the moment of birth. In the concentrated and spinning nativity of President Bush43, it is his rising sign that is central to his identity and actions. Looking to house cusps rather than planetary positions gives a more appropriate insight into the reality of President Bush43 who focuses mostly on circumstances he can control rather than inner elements of his personality.

Of the houses, the first house cusp or Ascendant shows how a person is seen by society. The 10th house cusp shows one’s public face and place in the community and status in society. He attacks life as an opportunity to achieve a double end, one immediate success in his own terms, the other his own inner emotional gratification his own way.
