Are Dice Rolls Random? Are They Divinely Ordered?
Are they expressions of Your Will?

Random means what exactly?
Are dice special concrete physical objects?
Is probability real or just a way to use precise math to say maybe?
Can Dice cubes be considered divine instruments of science information?
Dice are cubes of homogeneous material with the same number of dots of equal weight in x-axis, y-axis and z-axis. There is no mechanical reason for dice to fall more to one face than another.

Does this mean they yield equal numbers of each number pattern? NO! Just that no one knows the algorithm to describe the next roll outcome. Some reason scientists are loathe to admit what they don't know.

There are three equal and unverifiable explanations:

1)That the outcome is random, no order being possible ever to find.

2)The outcome is Divinely ordered and only the Divine knows the secret of the next dice roll.

3)Your personal energy and will go into your throw and that interacts with everything else around to express the total situation. If your will is focused sharply you will get the roll your will demands.

The choice of reasons, amongst these three is solely a matter of personal taste (de gustibus…). There is no objective proof at all for one explanation over another. Operationally, (by the physics of Prof. Bridgman of Harvard U. who didn't accept relativity) all that can be said is that the dice cubes are not biased and the results do not fit any known formula or algorithm to predict the next result.

What reason at all is there to believe the outcome of a dice roll is random rather than unknown? The only value to a conclusion of randomness is that one isn't under any obligation to search for any better answer. This stops further investigation, since the judgment of randomness says no research would possibly yield results.

What is the problem with research on dice rolls and other free outcomes?

Those with experience with them do not believe the next roll is a meaningless equality of each possibility.

Folks who spend time at the craps table agree that eventually the total number of each number may well tend to equal out. They notice, however, for the smaller segment of the time they are there, runs and tides of number patterns seem to take over. Finding those currents of non-equal, non-random dice rolls is what the seasoned craps player is all about.

The game of craps is called a game of individual will as if the winning shooters are able to imbue their dice throws with their personal energy and will and have their dice fall as they will.

The random probability folks say there is no known reason for one outcome over another, so assume they are all equal. Why? What would make equal possibilities organize themselves so?

Probability--frequency equations only show that as the number of tries goes up and up, any runs or currents in the outcome will become an ever smaller percentage of the total. Eventually, this will become negligible, if you want to neglect it.

Probability equations do not indicate any proof that the dice throw is truly without order or random. For the next roll to come out in any specific number is totally easy and often occurs. For 10 million of the next 12 million rolls to do the same is very, very difficult. That requires 8 million excess rolls for a single number. As the total number soars, the number of a specific number required to show a significant bias also soars.

The folks of faith, who insist that their God knows all, controls all and determines all have no proof either. Nothing can be random in their perspective. That is why they wrestle with the problem of evil. Clearly, things often turn out differently than they believe they should. They don’t want that to shake their faith in their God's total and absolute power.

The other alternative is they may have mixed up their religious quotes. The universal traditional religious belief is that everything that happens on Mother Earth is controlled and energized by Father Sun. With the change to Christian belief, Father Sun and Mother Earth became one god the father/son and Holy Mother who control everything. Oops, moving on.

Subjective Magic is the perspective that personally and willfully chooses to see meaning in every outcome. Those who follow its path find themselves guided in ways they consider useful. Sometimes events don’t turn out as well as hoped. That has meaning in terms of a lesson from the Cosmos personally to YOU not to just function on autopilot. Was that a disproof of your Cosmic guidance? Or just a Cosmic guidance different from what you expected?

To read the spots on dice, you have to look also at the open space of the dice face. It is the relationship of the spots as focus to the open space as background that creates the total image (gestalt or Eidos). They are not arbitrary numerals like 0,1,10.

What do the dice-face number patterns Express?

The dot patterns show the symbolic stages of a cyclic growth process from first root to final flowering seed pod upon one cube and the higher order symbolic cycle complete in 12 stages. Not 1-12 but first of 12 through 5th of 12 (quincunx) where all is organized and arrayed, on to one more beyond simple completion and then up into the total set of 10 and one more beyond that and finally to the connecting link last and new first in the 12th.
Never random, never even a matter of equal probability. Always precise to their basis. They are not numbered 1 to 12. It is more like first of 12 to ultimate of 12.
In our mathematics these numbers would be reciprocals with a connection always and all ways to their common center.Something like our d(lnx)dt with polar co-ordinates connected both to Cosmic Center and personal inner Source.
Of course dt referring not to mechanical clock time of the medieval scholastics but to timing of the whole Big Bang solar system nebula.
No connection even to the arbitrary numerals of our mechanical clock time. Those were developed by medieval monks requiring an alarm clock for their 3 a.m. prayers. Their importance arose from use in the great clock towers of the market cities (and their artificially lit factories for beating out start of shift, lunch break, end of shift).

It is all a continuous cycle with relevant reference to the entire set. This touch to the whole could be seen through the circumference of the symbolic circle that encloses all 12 stages. It could be seen in the center which also unites all 12 stages though in a very different way--from their common inner point of union. Not quite just random numbers.

Are dice timing analogs? Yes!
Not random at all? Yes!

A circular clock face is an analog for the path of the sun from sunrise to sunset. This is a timing analog since its hour hand models a timing cycle (the Earth's daily rotation)as a concrete measurement of the exact place where the sun would be in its cycle. The minute and second hands are also timing analogs although nothing actually cycles in an hour or minute.

The dice are analogs to the general cyclic process of events upon the Planet Earth. Natural and human cycles occur in the 6-stage process of a dice cube. These can be extended to a higher octave with a second dice cube. Two dice cubes show the patterns of the first 11 Euclidean numbers (2-12) since one is the unit and number are defined as a number of units.

The cycle of 12-fold stages occurs out in the world, between the topography of Mother Earth and the constantly changing sunshine. Just as time occurs far away from the actual clock face or its mechanical mechanism. Somewhere something may well be in each of the 12-stages.

When you roll the dice, your personal energy (chi) causes the dice to tumble and move. They will land with one of the stages of the timing cycles showing on each dice cube. What situation they are measuring is the general question with a dice roll.

When you focus your attention and need an answer about your personal question. then your personal energy is bundled toward moving the dice cubes to display that answer. This is why the roll of the dice for a dice oracle answer is never random.

At a craps table with the dice being rolled quickly by the shooter with money on the pass line, the need is for the dice number being willed. If the shooter is not focused in will then the dice will express the situation as it is overall for the table.

Reading the throws at the craps table may not make you money; however, it makes a fascinating commentary upon the people and their personal situations around the dice table. Dice rolls are never random. Only when taken in vast number without any context will they appear to be the result of each face coming up an equal and undistinguished number of times.

Do individuals affect the physical motion of tumbling objects by their will? How do folks affect the outcome of their fair or "random" throws of tumbling objects? They do it by focusing their will within themselves so that they adjust the Tao of the local horizon upon the scale of themselves, their tumbling objects and the surface they use to collect their throw.

How does the Tao of a local horizon control the outcome of a tumbling set of physical objects? That is what a Tao is, in my Flux Tome (I Ching) terms it is the Trail along which the tumbling objects move through the air and bounce or not upon the local surface which all interacts to determine which orientation shows UP as the result of the throw. It is also the Trail of the Spirit of the Yi and/or Lady Luck (hexagram 44 in Flux Tome) which runs through the Cosmos and through our consciousness and influences outcomes.

Both the craps shooter and the Yi caster want to get themselves as clear and objective as they can with their subjectivity as open to Tao of the local horizon as they can. The craps shooter wants this to feel the local currents of timing that are being objectively measured and reported by the Pythagorean computer which is also the pair of dice being thrown.

If you join this current and become part its rhythm then the dice are no longer random at all and the odds shift mightily in your favor. You can then judge what are the available outcomes most often coming along.

Are follks about the table making a vibe that encourages the universal Divine to manifest (7's more likely) or are they making things very scattered local detail (the field numbers and craps more likely). Or are the vibes balanced towards the success of human endeavor (the 6 and 8 without a 7 for a long time) more likely.

You watch the dice outcome and notice what the feel of the past 20 rolls have been like to judge the Tao of the table. You don't control the roll of the dice cubes by magic powers of the mind or will. First and foremost one can read the tides and currents of the craps table as revealed by the dice rolls.

You can influence the outcome of the dice by your will as one of the factors that will be measured and indicated by the dice as Pythagorean computer. Dice cubes have taken a prime role in process of playing many games since their results work so well. They do not favor any specific number; however, they give number results that are often an excellent fit for what makes the best twists and turns in the game. Hardly description of a random device.
